Rehearsal tonight, wedding tomorrow. I am going to just be in tears during my wedding. I will be so happy and it's going to be such an emotional experience for me. As soon as I walk out and see Bethani, Traci, and Jasmine standing there, and then look over and see Nate standing up there holding Kylie, I'm just gonna lose it. I love this man and his beautiful, wonderful daughters. I'm crying now, so I hope this can mean less tears tomorrow so I can keep myself together better. I know crying is okay and it will be because I am happy, but I just want to be able to smile and say my vows to Nate and the girls.
Nate and I stopped in the church last night. My mom, her best friend Lora, and my soon-to-be mother-in-law Kathy were all decorating. Along with my stepdad Jack, Lora's husband Darren, and my soon-to-be father-in-law George. Everything looks so beautiful. I don't know how Nate and I will ever be able to thank them enough. They have all worked so hard at making our big day very special.
These are my vows to Nathan regarding my very-soon-to-be stepdaughters:
I have pledged my love to you and promised to be a faithful wife.
Now I want to add another, different kind of vow.
I promise to love Jasmine and Kylie for all of our days and to treat them as if
they were my own. I gladly accept the obligations that go along with this pledge.
I love Jasmine and Kylie and want them to be part of my life.
